Chocolate Syrup Brownie Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
½ cup Butter (1 stick)
½ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup white Sugar
4 eggs
1 cup All Purpose Flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Blend in the eggs, vanilla, salt and chocolate syrup. Mix well.
Pour into a lightly buttered and floured 9” X 13” cake pan.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top of the batter.
Bake for 35-45 minutes. Do not over bake--it will continue to cook as it cools down. The toothpick/ skewer test does not work with this cake. It is so loaded with chocolate the toothpick will always be coated.
Cool for 1 hour.
Serve slightly warm with ice cream and drizzle more chocolate sauce on top.
