Restaurant Review by @LifeofaRockStar

When we saw this tweet we were so glad we had reservations at STK that night!

The feeling in STK is very adult, not a surprise when their slogan is “Not your daddy’s steak house.” While the music is loud enough to create an atmosphere, it does not prohibit all conversation--just the ones you don’t want to have anyway! Winking And we do love playing the, “I can’t hear you card.” The vibe is sultry and the dress is just the way it should be, sexy, fashionable and dressy. High, high heels are required. Make sure you arrive early for your dinner reservations so that you can thoroughly enjoy the people watching, mingling and be certain to grab a cocktail at the expansive modern bar.

We were seated without delay--almost to the minute on our reservation time. Huge points for that, STK. The minute the piping hot buttered bread arrived to our cozy and private but still amongst the action table we were sworn to worship STK Las Vegas for eternity. It just doesn’t get any better than this. The pesto sauce served on the side, while delicious, was just a dreamy addition to the so-worth-the-workout bread.

Our meal began with a glass of our favorite
Veuve Cliquot champagne but you should definitely peruse their expansive cocktail and wine list.

What ensued was a nothing short of a feast in the middle of a sexy high-end fashion show replete with celebrities. (Sorry, we don’t dine and dish--we let rock stars dine in peace.) The music was every bit as good as promised, if not better, with a great mix of songs and music styles that leaned towards a dance / house / pop genre.

Dishes we loved: Ceasar Salad, Pear and Endive Salad, Broccolini, Mac n’ Cheese, Parmesan Truffle Fries, Jalapeño Onions, 10 oz. Filet and Roasted Dover Sole.

Make sure you put STK Las Vegas in the
Cosmopolitan Hotel on your Rock Star Dining list!

SONG OF THE WEEK
P!nk Blow Me (One Last Kiss)

Song of the Week
P!nk “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”
August 30, 2012
By Mama Mary

Leave it to
P!nk to come out with a song called Blow Me. If anyone thought for one second that having a kid might have softened her, they were dead wrong, and thankfully so. Her latest jam is as rockin’ and feisty as all of her pre-baby music, which is why I’m naming it the song of the week for my girl Nicole of Life of a Rock Star.
