Restaurant Review by @LifeofaRockStar

How could we not hit Serendipity 3 at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas for the Fall 2012 Restaurant Week? Home to the most divine and legendary Frozen Hot Chocolate, this beverage boasts a blended up flurry of twenty (20) different kinds of chocolate! We’ve had it in New York and we were certain not to miss it on this trip either.

Our table was set and Serendipity 3 sat us on the dot at our reservation time. They serve up a fresh and oversized (Las Vegas hanover style) cup of coffee that comes with attentive refills.

Their breakfast menu has all of the salty and sweet goodness recovery from a late night requires and that is why we made Serendipity 3 a morning stop for restaurant week.

While loads of tables were filled with only adults, every child should experience this colorful playground of food and treats. The ice-cream parlor feel is a welcome change in Sin City and the sweet decor keeps you noticing fun different accents like the over-sized clock throughout your meal.

Dishes we loved: The Hangover Omelet, The Central Park Omelet, The Frozen Hot Chocolate French Toast, and of course the signature drink, The Frozen Hot Chocolate itself (which you can request to go).

LVRW2012

August 27th to September 2nd 2012 brings out creative menus, discerning palettes and a full blown eating spree during Las Vegas Restaurant Week all for charity.

Via helpoutdineoutlv.org/about:
Now in its sixth year, Las Vegas Restaurant Week gives restaurants in our community the opportunity to give back through the culinary arts. We are proud to report that since 2006 over 1.5 million meals have been provided for those in need through Restaurant Week. Today, Three Square feeds nearly 100,000 men, women, children and seniors each month, however the need is estimated at three times our current reach. By joining us for Las Vegas Restaurant Week, you are helping us get closer to our goal of feeding the 300,000 people in need in Southern Nevada. All proceeds from Restaurant Week remain in Las Vegas and help Three Square in its fight to end hunger in Southern Nevada. Read more about LAS VEGAS Restaurant Week Fall 2012.

SONG OF THE WEEK
P!nk Blow Me (One Last Kiss)

Song of the Week
P!nk “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”
August 30, 2012
By Mama Mary

Leave it to
P!nk to come out with a song called Blow Me. If anyone thought for one second that having a kid might have softened her, they were dead wrong, and thankfully so. Her latest jam is as rockin’ and feisty as all of her pre-baby music, which is why I’m naming it the song of the week for my girl Nicole of Life of a Rock Star.
