We brought you the hot Annie Rise video, now here’s the Life of a Rock Star™ Annie Rise interview!

Q: Can you tell us a little about how and where you grew up and what your family is like?

A:
I grew up  in a small town in Ukraine in an ordinary family. My parents were not connected with music at all. But at 7 years old, I felt like I wanted to play the piano and my mum took me to music school. From that point my career get started!

I was quite a star in my native town. I was a lead singer in choir, I always sang in concerts at school, and in different children’s singing contests. I also took part in a folk band.

I started writing poems at that time. After finishing school I wanted to continue my education in music but my parents didn’t see the value of me being in show business. I said to myself, “If the music is really my way to go I would take that way sooner or later.”

After acquiring 2 higher education degrees and being successful in modeling, I started in February of 2011 to work in cooperation with the progressive music label Firework Sound, (also known for working with famous dance group Kazaky).

Q: Do you write your own music?  Do you play any instruments?

A: I play the piano,  write lyrics and music for myself but also work with the best musicians and song writers to have the best quality of songs.

Q: What inspires you?

A: The world around is enough to be inspired. But most of all people who provoke your imagination and intensify feelings…

Q: Where have you traveled  and / or lived?

A: I travel a lot. London, LA, Moscow, and Ukraine are my most frequent destinations, but I love to travel without special purposes just for inspiration and relaxation. The last trips that most amazed me were Spain, Tuscany and Venice.

Q: Do you have a favorite book?

A: It always changes.

Q: How many languages (and which) do you speak?

A: English, Russian , Ukrainian, and a little bit of French.

Q: Annie, we love your style!  Who fashioned you for the video?  Can you tell us specifically what brand(s) you are wearing?

A: I had an amazing stylist who created the costumes for the video. I don’t have special brands to wear. It does not depend on the name of the brand but on quality and how it looks on me.

Q: If you have a day off or a day with free time, what do you like to do?  What is your favorite way to spend your free time?

A: I would spend it outdoor with my parents, relatives and close friends whom I love and who feel a lack of my attention.
