Our Life of a Rock Star teen contributor, was thrilled to take part in a Born This Way Foundation assembly.
Teens were asked to listen to the lyrics of Born This Way by Lady Gaga and think though what it means to be able to express themselves in a safe environment, be a part of the change, and impact their local community. They all rocked cool black Born This Way Foundation tee-shirts and left the workshop feeling confident and more aware.

About the Foundation:
Lady Gaga has joined forces with The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment and is now also teaming up with Viacom to celebrate individuality and reward bravery.
The Born This Way Foundation is spreading the word through schools and educational programs reaching out to teens to teach tolerance and promote acceptance.
This rock star organization is making a difference in the lives of so many who are in need of a braver, kinder world.
