@LifeofaRockStar

Positive messages are always worth noting. This morning the hip hop world’s super popular Flo Rida spoke out on NBC’s Today Show crediting his mom and telling kids to “work hard” to achieve their dreams.

Flo Rida said of his new album, “My goal is to watch all of my fans go crazy, party, wow like never before!”

When Natalie Morales asks Flo Rida what he tells kids having a hard time growing up--since he grew up in the projects--about achieving their dreams Flo Rida replies:

“I owe it to
my mom. You know definitely. She always motivated me, you know, to put God first, work hard and you know always believe in yourself. No one else believes in yourself, you believe in yourself. Because when it’s all said and done, you know a lot of times you feel the pain and struggle and everything. So you know, I mean you just always you know work hard and always try to dedicate as much of your time to whatever you’re trying to achieve in life. Because, I mean, it’s a great pay off, you know, it’s just beautiful to come out here and see all of my fans smiling and everything. So this is a dream come true for me!”
