JETTA’s explosive talent will be showcased at the newly renovated venue The Scotch (formally Scotch of St James) on 23 October.
Born and raised in Liverpool, JETTA is a musician who has been quietly gathering interest for the last three years, chiefly due to her incredible vocal talent and songwriting.
JETTA honed her craft initially as a backing vocalist, performing with such luminaires as Paloma Faith and Cee Lo Green. Impressed by her dynamic vocals, respected Dubstep producer DJ Jakwob then handpicked JETTA for a guest appearance on his hit track "Electrify", which generated heavy specialist support from BBC Radio One DJs including MistaJam, Nihal and Zane Lowe.
JETTA is now set to storm the web and dance floors, with the release of her first solo single, an uplifting independent soul smash called "Start A Riot." The track is written by Jetta and produced by the esteemed Jim Elliot (Ellie Goulding, MIA).
The video for the track, partly shot by Jetta herself and directed by Eoghan Kidney, compliments the soundtrack by beautifully combining fragmented moody imagery and joyous, celebrative visuals.
