Can Ice-T Make Something From Nothing? Life of a Rock Star can’t wait to see this star-studded documentary on the evolution of rap music with interviews from rap artists that include Ice-T, Dr. Dre, Chuck D, Eminem, Nas, Kanye West, Ice Cube, Snoop Dog, Bun B, B Real, Common, MC Lyte, Mos Def and more.
Ice-T’s documentary “Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap” opens this Friday, June 15, 2012.
In an interview with LA Weekly, he says that in order to make this film, he “had to triangulate, which means get the film crew guys from London, the artists and myself — who's doing Law & Order full-time — in the same place on a particular day at a particular time. You have no idea how hard it is to get a rapper to stop moving.” (Read full LA Weekly Interview here.)
