Laura Warshauer added to Lolla line-up!

Laura Warshauer played the Troubadour last night--opening for Bob Schneider--in Los Angeles to a crowd that may not have known her when she took the stage, but was certainly enthralled by her raw rock and roll talent and pure voice by the time she finished out her set with her new song “Dream Sequence - I Want To Make Things Right.”
Laura looked every bit the rock star in her black tight leather pants, oversized multi-strung thick corded silver necklace and v-neck tank style black blouse. Her short hair, her voice and her strong presence on stage was reminiscent of a commanding young Pat Benatar.
While Laura played a few of her original songs off of her album, one of which--Wishing Well--was on the charts for 12 weeks, she got the crowd singing along to the Elvis classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
The full house at the Troubadour loved what Laura called her quintessential hit the ground running dive bar song aptly named, “Rockstar.”
As a rare treat, Laura hopped into the crowd to belt out “Full House” while Oliver, (Bob Schneider’s trumpet player) took the stage to join in on the song.
The Troubadour appearance brought Laura Warshauer home, as Los Angeles is where she resides. She announced last night during her show that she will be playing Lollapalooza in Chicago this August. (View the 2012 line-up here.)
