Love and a .38 played the Sunset Strip Music Festival again this year and fans were ready for their return! Their recent release “Lovely Lies” put them on the Life of a Rock Star™ “A list” of bands to check out.

Expectations run high with so many talented bands to see at SSMF and when you choose to see one you necessarily miss out on others. My intention was to catch a few songs by Love and a .38 before I ran off to catch the next band on the “A list.”
Needless to say, I stayed for their entire set. When a show is that good--you just know you are witnessing something special. One song after the next, these four guys kept their audience fully engaged and rocking out.
There is no question that Love and a .38 are heavy hitters. They are a current rock band with an old school feel and seeing them in this small venue was amazing! They filled the room with their high energy show that nobody wanted to end.
