What is great about trying new recipes is sharing the results! Our LOAR contributor tried an easy recipe she read elsewhere for an Overnight Brick Sandwich and is sharing a photo of her results with you. Overnight Brick Sandwich recipe by Diane Bittiker

I read about this intriguing Italian sandwich in the San Jose Mercury News and couldn’t resist giving it a try. It is delicious! It is so easy to make and since it needs to be made ahead of time you can make it the day before or early in the day and have a great sandwich for your summer parties or picnics. For those of you that are Trader Joe’s devotees like me, I found everything at T Joe’s. One stop shopping makes it even easier!
